Synopsis

dnssec-trigger bug fix update

Description

dnssec-trigger reconfigures the local Unbound DNS server after each network configuration change. This ensures that it can perform name resolution and DNSSEC validation. dnssec-trigger probes DNS resolvers provided from the network via DHCP to determine features supported by them. If DNS resolvers provided from the network support the necessary features, dnssec-trigger signals Unbound DNS server to use them. If the DNS resolvers provided from the network are not usable, it signals the Unbound DNS server to perform its own AUTH queries. If that fails, dnssec-trigger prompts the user via the dnssec-trigger-applet to decide if he wants to use the DNS resolvers provided from the network, with DNSSEC validation turned off.
